Situations in which we can help you while you're traveling:

• In the event of a sudden illness, including: food poisoning caused by trying local dishes, conjunctivitis or an ear infection from swimming, accidentally stepping on a sea urchin, or excessive sun exposure—we will arrange for you to see a medical facility (private or public) and cover the cost of treatment,
• If your condition worsens due to a chronic illness, we will cover medical expenses up to 100% of the medical expense coverage limit specified in the insurance policy under its basic coverage,
• We will cover the costs associated with a stay in quarantine or an isolation facility, provided that it is recommended and arranged by the medical authorities of the relevant country – in the event of a sudden illness confirmed by a diagnostic test for a disease classified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a pandemic during international travel,
• We will arrange and cover the costs of transportation to Poland up to the assistance coverage limit—a separate limit that does not reduce the coverage limit for medical expenses,
• In the event that your luggage is damaged or destroyed due to theft of its contents or loss while in the carrier’s care (e.g., at the airport), we will pay you the compensation you are entitled to,
• If you experience any minor health issues, we will arrange a phone call or video consultation with a doctor from Poland by calling the Generali Help Center at +48 913 913 913,
• We will cover the deductible for a rental car abroad, including damage that does not render the vehicle inoperable (parking damage),
• If your child breaks a souvenir in a store or shatters a car mirror while playing with a ball, we'll cover the costs you incur,
• If your car breaks down, we'll provide assistance (on-site repairs, towing, or fuel delivery, even if you're traveling in a motorhome),
• We will reimburse you for costs incurred during your vacation due to unforeseen circumstances, including: participation in a tourist event, cancellation of accommodations, or cancellation of travel tickets purchased through, for example, booking.com, airbnb.pl, ryanair.com, or wizzair.com.
