Compensation

How is compensation calculated?

The calculation is simple: the percentage of health impairment multiplied by the sum insured.

Step 1: File a Claim

After an incident occurs, file a claim with your insurer.

Step 2: Degree of Injury

Once treatment is complete, the claims adjuster will determine the extent of your injury or refer you to a medical examiner, who will prepare an individual medical report.

Step 3: Calculation

The determined percentage of loss is multiplied by the sum insured under the policy.

Example

Loss of 5.5% on a transaction value (SU) of 50,000 PLN: 5.5% × 50,000 PLN = 2,750 PLN in compensation.
