BUSINESS INSURANCE

Mandatory Protection for Your Credit Activities

Mortgage broker liability insurance is mandatory. It provides protection against the consequences of damages caused by acts or omissions in connection with the broker’s business activities—it also covers damages caused by the broker’s agents.

The terms of the policy are set forth in the regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1403), effective as of July 22, 2017. At Polisarium, we compare offers from many insurance companies and select a policy that complies with the regulations—quickly and without unnecessary red tape.

WHY IT'S WORTH IT

  • Legal obligation — The requirement to have liability insurance stems directly from the 2017 regulation.
  • Full responsibility — An insurance company may not contractually limit coverage
  • Protection of Agents — The policy also covers damage caused by your agents
  • High coverage limits — at least 460,000 euros per incident and 750,000 euros in total
